Global Projects was established in 2003 to undertake the activities in Wireless telecommunication industry , it has grown significantly to be one of the trusted solution provider for the Ministry of Interior, National Guards and Coastal Guards in Kuwait . Ever since GPC has been established, it has undergone continuous growth until it became a large scale establishments in implementing EADS Tetra Radio network and this system will help to improve the security for the radio communication of Kuwaiti police and public safety authorities.

Global Projects has implemented Nokia/EADS Tetra Radio network for Ministry of Interior in Kuwait. The EADS Tetra system brought improved security for the radio communication of Kuwaiti police and public safety authorities. Tetra is ETSI (European Telecommunication Standard Institute) standard for Professional Mobile Radio and Private Access Mobile Radio. TETRA stands for Terrestrial Trunked Radio. Kuwait Tetra network is country wide network covering the whole Kuwait. The Nokia/EADS hand held and vehicle mount terminals are being used for individual and group communication. The Nokia/EADS dispatcher workstations are providing both communications and management features.


Global Projects has also implemented AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) system in Kuwait. This system provides up-to-date location information for emergency vehicles, service vehicles etc . The (AVL) system consists of a GPS receiver on the vehicle, a communication link between the vehicle and the dispatcher , and pc-based tracking software for dispatch . The communication system is usually a cellular network that is similar to the one used by our cellular phone .

Global has installed more than 3000 GPS devices in police cars, boats and motorbikes. The GPS (Global Positioning System) devices are sending the Location information to the central positioning server using Nokia/EADS Tetra infrastructure.


GPC Installed speed and red light enforcement cameras . The main purpose for these cameras is to to help traffic flow as efficiently and safely as possible and to handle emergencies.


Global Projects has provided the system integration services for the traffic violation project. GPC provided the back office application, network connectivity between General Petrol Department and six governorates, synchronization with information system IBM mainframe.


Network Reporting system is a very important element in our network , It collects usage information from a variety of network sources and offers reporting, analysis and billing based on this data. The Display of the final report will be shown in huge screens that can be seen in many control rooms.


Tetra is being used for health services for their improved operation .Tetra dispatchers in control room to manage their fleet for emergency and non emergency cases.

Tetra is installed in the ambulances to communicate with control room.



GPC has implemented command and control system for various department control rooms with partnership of many famous and well known suppliers in the telecommunication field. All incidents are received by control rooms and sent to mobile units using Tetra radio network, GPC delivered large , sophisticated systems in various field with some uniqueness in order to offer a customized design to diverse end users .we embedded an incident manager in the control rooms so that it can take care of all the incidents. GPC has implemented â€‌ Tetra data transfer “ project for different departments that can use Tetra to send messages to each other in case of emergency. The incident management system is integrated with 777. Now incidents are sent to mobile units on the road using Tetra radio network and that will enhance the security and the performance for the operations.

We also provide integration of communication infrastructure with Tetra radio network serving the Federal Warning Systems to support voice and data transmission over 250 Remote Terminal Units by the year 2010
